I’m a size 14, 36DDD. Ordered a size large. Reasons this dress looks great on me:
– I can wear a damn bra with it. Why is that too much to ask for most dresses?
– Neckline is not TOO low but still shows off a bit.
– Wider shoulders are flattering to arms and shoulders, hide armpit fat.
– Looser top hides bra-bulge in the back, but cinched waist and a-line skirt shows off an hourglass figure.
– Skirt is so swingy with great movement and will be fun to dance in.
Things I would change:
– More color options, please. I have pale, cool skin that get’s red easily and I was worried the coppery color would be too warm and not flattering. In person, it’s dark enough that it’s ok but I would have prefered a shade of blue or green.
– Not totally sold on the handkerchief hemline. Didn’t get the black because it could read as a witch costume. (Although, if you needed a good witch costume…)
– Pockets, please.
