Really pretty! Very impressed with the quality of these Steve Maddens! I haven’t purchased Steve Madden since high school. (I’m 45.) I was looking for a classy “foldover” boot, and these are it! The suede is nice and a really pretty mushroom taupe brown color. Very neutral! I like that there’s no stitching at the top. The stitch is invisible/inside providing a more “finished” look. (I’ll provide a pic.) I love the wood heel and edge around the sole. I’m not a fan of plastic & rubber wood on wedges and boot heels. The extra layer of suede on top will add a little warmth in the winter. I’m exactly 5’4 and have the size 7s. These come right over that bottom bone in my knee, so definitely not an over the knee boot, but not technically under. They are a good bit taller than my Frye riding boots. I have chicken legs : / so no trouble in the shaft or getting them on. They are a slightly dressier boot, but my daughter says I can still wear them with denim miniskirts. I’m still debating that and thinking I need to stick to a more western style like the bixby for denim miniskirts, so I may keep both these and the bixby. Hope this helps!

I tried these on and they were to small. I’m normally a size 7 but always order a 7.5 in boots (because of thicker socks) and they still felt tight. I would recommend a full size up if you order because they’re pointy. But the material is great and the color is beautiful.
